Anne-Laure Hulin began her musical journey at the age of six by studying the transverse flute
under the guidance of her mother, who was also a flautist.
However, it was singing that captured her interest and curiosity when she joined the
prestigious Radio France Choir School ("Maîtrise de Radio France") in 2004.
She holds a Master’s degree in Classical Voice (graduating with highest honors) from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), where she studied under Elène Golgevit, Charlotte Bonneu, and Frédéric Rubay.
Throughout her career, Anne-Laure has had the opportunity to perform as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre National de France, and the Orchestre de Paris, under the baton of eminent conductors including Daniele Gatti, François-Xavier Roth, Paavo Järvi, and Daniel Harding. She has performed at prestigious venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris and the Radio France Auditorium.
Her strong interest in the Baroque repertoire has led her to collaborate with renowned artists such as Sébastien Daucé, Christophe Coin, Damien Guillon, Lionel Meunier, and Raphaël Pichon. She also works with the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame and performs at festivals such as the Pontoise Baroque Music Festival and the Bach Orléans Festival.
Passionate about contemporary music, Anne-Laure has participated in prestigious masterclasses, notably with Barbara Hannigan at the Opéra Comique in 2020. In 2023, she performed the soprano solo part in Ligeti’s "Aventures" and "Nouvelles Aventures" with Ensemble Maja at the Festival Présences (Radio France), the Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing, the ENSEMS Festival in Valencia (Spain), and the Théâtre de l’Athénée in Paris in February 2024.
Anne-Laure won first prize at the Hector Berlioz Competition in 2019 as well as first prize at the Les Clés d’Or Competition. She is also a laureate of the Williamson Foundation at the Académie de Musique du Festival des Arcs.
On the opera stage, Anne-Laure made her debut as Papagena and later Pamina in Mozart’s "The Magic Flute". In 2021, she performed the role of Adina in Donizetti’s "L’Elisir d’Amore", conducted by Laure Deval, at several major venues in the Île-de-France region. She also performed the role of Eurydice in Gluck’s "Orphée et Eurydice", conducted by Benjamin Fau, as well as the role of Rosita in Offenbach’s "Un Mari à la Porte" at the CNSMDP. She portrayed Le Feu, Le Rossignol, and La Pastourelle in the co-production of Ravel’s "L’Enfant et les Sortilèges" by the Philharmonie de Paris and the CNSMDP in March 2024, a production that will be revived in Dinard in April 2025. She is set to perform the role of Acis in Handel’s "Acis, Galatea e Polifemo" with the baroque ensemble Le Stagioni, touring the Hauts-de-France region throughout the 2025–2026 season.
With an enduring passion for choral music, Anne-Laure currently sings with prestigious ensembles such as Ensemble Pygmalion (conducted by Raphaël Pichon), Ensemble AEDES (conducted by Mathieu Romano), Ensemble Correspondances (conducted by Sébastien Daucé), and Les Métaboles (conducted by Léo Warynski).
Since 2021, Anne-Laure has been actively involved with the association Tournesol-Artistes à l’Hôpital, bringing music to hospitalized patients through bedside performances or in scheduled concerts. She performs in a trio with Charlotte Bozzi (soprano) and Martin Leterme (guitarist), offering a repertoire ranging from Baroque music to jazz. She is also part of a vocal trio with Marie-Cécile Hebert (soprano) and Lauriane Le Prev (alto), with whom she is scheduled to perform during the 2023/2024 Jeunes Talents season.
