Lucie Edel studied at the Paris Conservatory and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam before obtaining her Master’s degree from the Lausanne University of Music (HEMU).

Launching a career as a soloist, she turned her focus to the concert repertoire. At Flagey, she performed Mendelssohn’s “Lobgesang” with the Brussels Philharmonic alongside Julien Behr. At the Saint-Riquier Festival, she sang Mendelssohn’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “Psalm 42” with the Orchestre de Picardie under the direction of Arie van Beek. At the Radio France Festival in Montpellier, she took on the role of Titania in J.G. Kastner’s rarely performed symphony “Les Cris de Paris”, accompanied by the Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine. At the Palais des Congrès in Biel/Bienne, she appeared as a soloist in C.P.E. Bach’s “Auferstehung und Himmelfahrt” with the Biel Solothurn Symphony Orchestra.

In December 2021, she sang in Handel’s “Israel in Egypt” at the MC2 in Grenoble with Le Concert Spirituel. In the chamber music repertoire, Lucie takes on the role of Diane in B. Godard’s eponymous, previously unperformed cantata, accompanied by pianist Marie-Joseph Jude and the Vlaams Radio Koor, notably at the Concertgebouw in Bruges, in a production by the Palazzetto Bru-Zane.

She performs in duos with guitar and harp, notably for the 2019 Heritage Days and the 2020 Night of Museums.
In June 2022, she launched the duo Superphénix with guitarist Raphaël Béreau.
In the summer of 2021, the Compagnie du Prix de Rome presented its first show, “Assassines”, at the Voix des Forges festival; in it, Lucie performed the role of Médée in G. Hüe’s eponymous work and Zillah in P. Hillemacher’s “Judith”.

In opera, she portrays Parthoenis in J. Offenbach’s “La Belle-Hélène”, in a production directed by Shirley & Dino at the Montpellier Opera.
In July 2021, she performed the role of the Nymph of the Seine in F.C. Blamont’s “Le Retour des Dieux sur la Terre” with the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles.
During the 2021/2022 season, she sang the role of Climène in the “comédie-ballet” “Le Malade imaginaire” by M.A. Charpentier and Molière, performing at venues including the Opéra de Massy, ​​ Opéra de Nantes, Opéra de Reims, Grand Opéra d’Angers, Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing, and Opéra du Grand Avignon.

Lucie Edel also sang the role of Beauty in the “comédie-ballet” “Le Mariage Forcé” by J.B. Lully and Molière, notably at the Müpa Budapest, Opéra de Reims, Cité des Congrès de Nantes, Théâtre Alexandre Dumas in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Théâtre Olympia in Arcachon, Palais des Congrès in Le Touquet, Théâtre de Suresnes, the Jean de la Fontaine Festival, and the Sablé-sur-Sarthe Festival.
During the 2022/2023 season, she will perform the role of Sylphie in C.W. Gluck’s “Echo et Narcisse” at the Royal Opera of Versailles, which she will record in October 2022 for the Château de Versailles label.

She will then take on the role of the Second Lady in W.A. Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” at the Opéra Royal de Versailles in December 2022. She will also appear as the German Slave in A. Grétry’s “La Caravane du Caire” in March 2022, likewise at the Opéra Royal de Versailles. She will reprise the role of Beauty in the “comédie-ballet” “Le Mariage Forcé” by J.B. Lully and Molière throughout the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 seasons, notably at the Théâtre de Neuilly and the Théâtre de Thionville.

Lucie Edel won Third Prize at the International Flame Competition in July 2019 and received an Honorable Prize at the Neapolitan Masters Competition in January 2022.
She is the founding member and artistic director of La Compagnie du Prix de Rome, a vocal and instrumental ensemble dedicated to rediscovering and performing the unheard and forgotten repertoire of cantatas written for the prestigious

Prix ​​de Rome competition.
She created with Raphaël Béreau the duo Superphénix, from which she performed a repertoire of Spanish melodies from June 2022.
